It has been more than 25 years that I've worked wood in one form or another. I worked first as a carpenter, home builder, creator of school and children's play structures, then as a custom cabinetmaker, architectural millworker, and I acquired furniture commissions along the way. I find that making furniture has become the work I enjoy most. In my woodworking odyssey, this new passion has refocused the direction of my business.
Since 1993, my shop has been located in a vintage 1920s Medford furniture factory, well-suited for craftspeople with its high ceilings, large elevators, and tall windows. Down the hall I can talk with other wood workers, ceramics and stain glass artists, musical instrument makers, sculptors, and fine arts conservators. In this supportive and stimulating environment I have been able to grow both as a craftsman and as an artist.
